Lol yeah I did. Oops. Sorry I don’t do free blog advertising. With all the beautiful fanart I reblog, I’d have a pretty cluttered and ugly tumblr with everyone’s links all over the pictures. Get over it, cause I do it with every picture. At least I don’t delete the credit. And it’s not like I have a ton of followers, cause if I did, I wouldn’t delete others’ links. But alas I only have 71 followers, half of which don’t even use tumblr anymore. So I don’t think me removing the link to your blog really matters that much. But again, it must mean a whole lot to you, as you have taken the time to re-blog said post and make it seem like I’m some sort of internet theif or something. (Or whatever you wish to call it.) And clearly if someone were to look at the notes, they woud notice that the picture indeed originated somewhere else rather than on my own tumblr. But I digress. This is quite petty. So I’m done.

and I don’t have a lot of followers either, I lose em all the time because everyone’s a big baby when it comes to politics.

I don’t do it to get followers. I do it, because I don’t want links to other peoples’ blogs on my tumblr. And yeah it looks messy to me, when there are names of tumblr accounts other than mine on my page.

And as I said before, the source is still on the picture, so people can see who actually orginally uploaded it.

ok look I don’t know how long you’ve been on tumblr but literally everyone who’s made an original post gets ticked off when someone changes it to theirs. it’s not cool. I don’t care it makes your blog look “messy” boo hoo. get a theme then that has the option for pictures without captions. you don’t change captions to yours, if you’re going to change a caption the only exception is to change it to the original poster.

and you don’t see who posted it unless you go down to the first note. because there’s the right way of sourcing things and I do that way, so I don’t appear in the sources, except for the caption.

Ok so that quote has nothing to do with me doing this to get followers? I said that because, if I had a lot of followers, that would mean there would be more people who don’t see the link to your tumblr. But 71 people not seeing the link to your blog isn’t that many imo. (especially since half of them don’t even log on anymore)

And people can get pissed all they want. It’s the damn internet. They need to either get used to it or get off. I’m not blogging for you, I’m blogging for me. And I really don’t care if you or anyone else likes the way I re-blog or not, because I like it. I do this because I enjoy it, not because I’m trying to get tumblr famous or some other dumbass reason. And because I do this for my own enjoyment I DO care how aesthetically pleasing my page is to me. And I just so happen to find links to other peoples’ tumblrs ugly and annoying. However, I would understand and care if people were getting pissed at me because I was deleting the credit and link to the original artist. But I’m not doing that. And I mean come on, what am I really deleting? The fact that you found the picture and/or credit? If it’s realllly THAT important to you, then idk what to say. Because imo that’s not something I feel you deserve recognition for. Anyone can go find some picture or the credit to some art, it’s not like it’s some amazing accomplishment. Now if you were the original artist, I’d be more than happy to keep the link to your tumblr on the picture. But it’s not your artwork, so I deleted it. 

And I’ve been a part of tumblr for about 2 years now, and honestly you’re the only one that has complained about how I re-blog. If other members have noticed, they either didn’t say anything because they find the issue too petty to argue about or they just don’t care. Which they shouldn’t, because again I’m not doing it for any other reason other than the fact that I don’t like the way it looks on my blog. And I really don’t care whether or not you or anyone else finds my reasoning to be idiotic, because it’s obviously a good enough reason for me. 

And idk about you, but on my dashboard, at the bottom of this post, it says Source: hobbbbbit. 

So really, could you just drop it and get over it. Because I’m not going change what I do on the internet just because you don’t like it. As I said before I’m not blogging for you, and I’m not here to appease you either.

Yeah, anyone can find pictures and post them. And like many others, I would like credit for finding that picture. Am I so wrong for that? No.
I don’t mean to sound rude, but if you care about the appearance about your blog, get a better theme.
And I honestly never noticed my name in the source. I’m on the app, but I’m pretty sure I put a link in the source??
Even if my name is it the source (I don’t think it would be my current URL, unless you changed that too), its kinda common courtesy to leave things as they are. There’s really not much of a point in changing the caption to yours, unless you want followers. It doesn’t make your blog look messy and ugly lmao.
